First and foremost, Kyle is a follower of Christ, having accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at the young age of 8. He has dedicated his life and career to serving the Lord and furthering His Kingdom. 

He has been married to Danette, a teacher and travel agent, for almost 25 years and is dad to Colin, a young adult college student. He and his family live in Franklin, TN with their Husky/German Shepherd dog named Tobi. 

For over 30 years, Kyle has served with FUGE Camps, a camping ministry of Lifeway Christian Resources. He has served as a summer staffer, camp coordinator, and team leader. In his work with FUGE Camps, Kyle has written Bible study material, hired and trained thousands of young adult summer staffers, developed training materials for staffers and leadership, and many other event planning tasks. 

For as long as Kyle can remember, he has been serving in the local church. For 18 years, Kyle has attended Rolling Hills Church in Franklin with his family. In those years, Kyle has served in all age groups including children, students, and adults. Kyle loves leading a small group, which he has done for over 15 years. He also has served in the deacon ministry at Rolling Hills and his previous church for many years. 

For over twenty years, Kyle has loved using his God-given gift of writing. He has been blessed to write for Lifeway Christian Resources and his church in the areas of Sunday School and Bible study curriculum, devotions, articles, and camp materials for all ages.
